The Doctrine of Paul
The doctrine of Paul never was to get saved and get ready to die and go to heaven. The doctrine of Paul was to enter into a covenant as Abraham did; to be made whole and have the blessing of Abraham. Paul was an apostle sent to the gentiles. The other apostles were sent to the Jews.
Paul’s doctrine taught the gentiles to come strictly by faith and enter into covenant by what was prophesied by Abraham in Romans 10:9. We will examine the statement of him being called to the gentiles.
Galatians 1:1-12 (KJV) 1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God (the Creator) the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: 3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God (the Creator) and our Father: 5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ (the Anointed One) unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ (the Anointed One). 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
When he said if they preach any other gospel let them be accursed, the word accursed is the same word in Acts 27:14 where the men bound themselves to an oath to kill Paul. They vowed not to eat or drink until they killed him. As we know they didn’t kill him; but they pronounced a curse on themselves.
Galatians 3:10-13 (KJV) 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
If they preach any other thing than what he preached let them be accursed. Most of the world now preaches come and receive Jesus and get ready to die. We should enter into covenant to have our heavenly Father be our rescue, safety, physically or morally, saving health and deliverance.
Galatians 3:8-9 (KJV) 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
This verse is referring to Abraham as a heathen or as a gentile. Heathen is another word for gentile. When God first spoke to Abraham he was an idolater. His whole family was in idolatry. God took a pagan, a gentile, called him out of Babylon and made a nation of people out of him.
Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV) 1 Now the LORD (Yahweh) had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Most bibles translate the name Yahweh as Jehovah. In the original Hebrew language there were no J’s. Who people who are familiar with the name know it means the covenant keeping God.
The scriptures let us know God is calling Abraham as a pagan; gentile out of Babylon. This is very important to understand he was called to get out of Babylon. Abraham obeyed the Lord and left. He went to Ur of Chaldees called Haran.
Acts 7:2-4 (KJV) 2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, 3 And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee. 4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
Abraham spent twenty five years there until his father died.
Genesis 12:4 (KJV) 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
One of the things the Lord said to Abraham was to leave and go for yourself but he took his nephew Lot with him and that causes some problems later on.
We used to sing a song in church if none goes with me I’ll go by myself. Too often people do things because someone else is doing it.
Abraham went to Haran or Charran which was the frontier city of Babylon where they worshiped the moon god; the fertility god. They would offer eggs and rabbits to the fertility god to conceive a child. Abraham was spoken to by the Lord again and told to leave. His father had died after twenty five years in Charran.. God told him I will give you a child and Abraham believed God. His belief was counted to him for righteousness. Abraham left the place where it was custom to offer sacrifices to have a child and believed God instead.
The scriptures talk about a stumbling block. Satan has deceived the world and has given those things back to the church disguised as holidays such as Easter where people hunt for eggs and rabbits. The scripture talks about Jezebel who teaches people to eat things sacrificed to idols Revelation 2:20. Abraham left this type of worship and believed God. He was seventy five years old. It took many years before the promise of having a child came to pass.
When Paul talked about the gospel of Abraham, a gentile being preached Paul said he was the apostle sent to the gentiles. Paul was called by the Lord to be an apostle to us gentiles, pagans.
Acts 9:15 (KJV) 15 But the Lord said unto him (Ananias), Go thy way: for he (Paul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Acts 22:21 (KJV) 21 And he (Jesus) said unto me (Paul), Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
Jesus told the twelve disciples to go to the Jews and not to the Gentiles. One was sent to Cornelius, being a Jew and not a Gentile which we will cover later. During Paul’s ministry there were times he encountered Jews and preached to them and baptized them. To the Gentile people he said he wasn’t sent to baptize
1 Corinthians 1:17. The gospel to Abraham was before the law, before baptism, before circumcision, before any works; it was strictly by faith. This was Paul’s argument in Romans and other places in the bible that we are saved by grace. Not by any works lest any man should boast.
In Genesis chapter fourteen we see the gospel that Paul preached was to Abraham. In the fourteenth chapter we see where Abraham’s nephew was taken into captivity.
Genesis 14:12 (KJV) 12 And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
Abraham went with his servants and overcame armies when he was outnumbered
Genesis 14:14-24 (KJV) 14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. 15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus. 16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. 17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale. 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. 21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD (the covenant keeping god), the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich: 24 Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
The Covenant Keeping God called Abraham a prophet, Genesis 20:7. Abraham prophesied what later would be Romans 10:9 and Romans 10:10 - that is - thou should make a binding agreement or covenant with your mouth the salvation; rescue, safety, physically or morally, with the Covenant Keeping God thou shall be made whole. So here where we read in Genesis chapter fourteen Abraham meets Melchizedek. Melchizedek brought worth bread and wine as you can see in chapter fourteen.
The scripture tells us in Hebrews that the Lord Jesus Christ or Yashua is our Melchizedek. The Lord said take this; the bread is my body, this wine is my blood, talking about the covenant that he was making as he hung on Calvary. Abraham as a prophet was prophesying the new covenant. He was prophesying the Gentiles like him should come into a blood covenant to be made whole; for the Father to be our salvation.
When it talks about the Most High God the word is Elyon, the highest of all. Abraham had believed God and he was counted unto him unto righteousness. The first thing that happened to Abraham was that he was blessed. People shouldn’t go to any minister or pastor to be blessed. Our Melchizedek, the Lord Jesus Christ is our blesser. The most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth blessed Abraham. We should consider this because he owned everything. He is able to meet all your needs.
Genesis 14:20 talks about how he gave him tithes of all. Tithing began here. It says in Hebrews 7:8 he that lives forever receives tithes. I want to point out again the first thing that happened was he was blessed. He was tithing out of his blessing. There are things taught today where people are giving lots of money to receive a blessing. One of my sons gave Rod Parsley $18,000 thinking he was going to get rich. The church world needs to back up and enter into covenant. Your financial blessing comes by faith, not giving. You should tithe out of your blessing.
Abraham said he wouldn’t take anything. The sodomites were temple prostitutes. The money that was offered was made from this prostitution. They had male and female prostitutes. He wasn’t going to take anything that was of corruption of this world. A lot of things that caused Israel to lose their blessings were when they got involved with false gods. They worshipped false gods instead of the blesser of Abraham; their Father. They would periodically sin and he would send deliverers to deliver them. Sometimes they would walk forty years right and turn back to their sins. The false gods that they were involved with has been given back to the church world disguised in our holidays.
In order to add covenant or to preach and cause people to enter into a covenant to be made whole one of the first things to understand is to get out of Babylon.
Revelation 18:4 (KJV) 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
There is going to be a death stroke. When the Israelites left Egypt they put blood on the door post. When they passed through the door with blood they left in a covenant. The death angel didn’t kill any of them. Later the Lord Jesus Christ said he is the door, the way to the Father. Nobody comes to the Father but by Him. You can’t pray or worship anyone else or seek after the dead. The only way to come into a covenant relationship is through the blood of Jesus Christ otherwise a blood covenant. A lot has been missed
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (destruction);
The Antichrist (instead of Christ), that will cause people to worship the image set up in Judaea (the West Bank)
Matthew 24:15-22 (KJV) 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Revelation 13:14-18 (KJV) 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
The word abomination means, the thing that God (Yahweh), the God of covenant hates; that brings on the desolating judgement, the wrath of the Almighty. During World War three two thirds of the Jews will die and one third of mankind will die.
Exodus 20:1-5 (KJV) 1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD (Yahweh the covenant keeping God) thy God (Elohim thy Creator), which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God (El Almighty God), visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
The word worship means to prostrate; or bow yourself down, crouch, fall down, flat, humbly beseech, do reverence, make to stoop, worship.
There has been a great falling away from the truth. In the book of Daniel he prophesied that craft or deceit would prosper. The scripture says Satan has deceived the whole world and will be cast into the lake of fire Revelation 12:9. The world is deceived into being involved with the same gods Israel was punished for. This is now disguised in our holidays. When Paul talked about preaching the gospel that was preached to Abraham the first thing was to get out of paganism. Get away from false gods. Abraham quit offering rabbits and eggs to the fertility god. A number of times Paul said he was the apostle to the gentiles.
