Understanding The Word Soul Psuche Nephesh
The Egyptian afterlife is depicted going through an underground journey in a boat.
In the boat is Anubis the god with the head of a jackal holding the heart weighing it against the feather of righteousness (Maat). There is also a female demon Ammit that is part lion, hippopotamus and crocodile, waiting to see the outcome that soul, supposedly the heart that is being weighed. She’s waiting to devour it.
Meanwhile there are curses, incantations and prayers that they can escape the devouring of the soul. There are prayers for the dead. These prayers for the dead crept into church through Constantine. The Egyptian and pagan idea of what a soul is was mixed in with the church.
Thessalonians second chapter scriptures tells us this man of sin will be revealed and the way he’s being revealed is because of the corruption, lack of truth within the body of Christ. If the people had stuck strictly to the word he would never be in the position he’s in because they would see him for what he is.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (destruction);
Judas was called son of perdition in John 17:2
It means there will be a falling away from truth and he’ll bring on destruction, the third World War. Two thirds of the Jews and one third of mankind will die.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 (KJV) 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
So he wouldn’t be able to be in that position unless there is a great falling away from truth. Then it would really reveal what he really is. There are those who haven’t been deceived but many have been deceived and are helping the system to come about.
The three and half years of the great tribulation are spoken of in the book of Daniel, Matthew and Revelation.
Revelation 12:9 (KJV) 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
The world is already deceived. The deception that you will be raptured before the great tribulation (persecution) will keep the bride (wife) from making herself ready.
Revelation 19:7-9 (KJV) 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Matthew 25:1 (KJV) 1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
The word meet in Mathew 25:1;6 and Acts 28:15 Paul being met means to meet and return with. Five virgins met the bridegroom at the gate, returned with him and went with him to the marriage. Paul was met at Appii and the brethren met with him. I am meeting at the airport in Accra by a fellow servant and he returns with me to Kumasi.
When our Lord returns after the three and a half years of great tribulation we who are alive will meet Him in the air and come with Him as the Lord pours His wrath on the world and the armies around Jerusalem.
Zechariah 12:13-14 (KJV) 13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; 14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
Revelation 13:15 (KJV) 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Some of us will be killed but not all. The only way you will live through the great tribulation is to add to your born again experience. The blood covenant of Romans 10:9-10.
Romans 10:9-13 (KJV) 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
In Romans ten verse nine confess: means to assent to, covenant, acknowledge, to make a binding agreement. Jesus: Greek word, Iesous; Hebrew word, Jehoshua-Yahshua which means the salvation of Jehovah or Jehova the Savior, as in the rescue, safety, physically or morally, being made whole, preserving of life of Jehova. Saved: to be made whole, delivered or protected, literally or figuratively, healed, preserved, save self; do well; to make your life whole.
Acts 4:12 (KJV) 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
In Romans ten verse ten righteousness: equity of good character or act, to be justified before God. Justify: means to render, show or regard as just or innocent, to be free from sin and its power over your life, freed from the consequence of yours sins and a sin cursed world. Confession: Greek word homologeo means to assent to covenant, to acknowledge. Assent: means to come into a binding agreement, covenant, or contract with Almighty God, in heart and with mouth. Salvation: rescue or safety, physically or morally, health and safety, preservation of life.
We must have our names written down in the book of life before our Heavenly Father, who is our covenant keeping Yah, that by the blood of His Lamb Yahshua (Jesus). There is a record, a report, a legal testimony, a witness that we have entered into a blood covenant with Him.
Revelation 12:11 (KJV) 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their (our) testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Testimony (Greek) = Marturia meaning evidence given (judicially or genitive case), record, report, testimony, witness
Revelation 18:4 (KJV) 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Daniel 12:1 (KJV) 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
I want to add there are people who have changed the word and their names are going to be taken out of the Lamb’s book of life.
Daniel 12:2-3 (KJV) 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Going back to being purified in Daniel 12:10 it talks about those who go through the tribulation many will be purified. Otherwise the troubles they will go through, the false doctrines, deception and un-pure things will be burned off and will shine as lights. Purify means to shine or be bright. They are going to make others aware of the deception. They will be wise, shine, be purified. We’re to be lights for the Lord. Those who get their eyes open and know what’s going on will inform others. That’s what this ministry is all about.
Daniel 12:10-11 (KJV) 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
The image will be set up on the west bank, Judea. It brings on the desolating judgement. There shall be one thousand three hundred and ninety days, otherwise three and a half years of great tribulation.
To understand the idea of being purified you need to understand the usage of the word soul.
As people come to these evangelistic meetings and to the healing meetings there are some who are ministering call themselves as apostles and many are not. The scripture says they are not. There are those who say they are prophets and some are not. Some say they are evangelists but they are not called of the Lord. Some become pastors because they can’t find a job and they see others living like kings so they want to be pastors.
If the hand of the Lord is genuinely on you in whatever position of ministry you’re in, you need to start preparing your people to be made whole. You have to change your advertisement and how you present this evangelistic meeting or healing meeting. It should not be advertised come and receive salvation or be saved because the word save means to be made whole. Everyone should be preaching be made whole. People need to understand that since faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. You need to rightly divide the word and give the pure word then their faith is going to increase. The number of people that will be healed will increase because they understand the Lord wants to make them, as a living soul, whole.
Jesus said what is it easier to say take thy bed and walk or your sins forgiven. In Luke 6:9 when the Lord was in the presence of the Pharisees he was angry because they should understand that when salvation comes it included forgiveness of sin. They didn’t like the idea he was going to heal on the Sabbath. He said is it better to save life or destroy life. The word life there is soul. When the man’s withered arm was healed he as a living soul was made whole. That included his sins were forgiven.
Acts 15:26 the word life there is soul. All throughout the New Testament the word life or soul is used is really the same thing. The word nephesh eight souls were saved by water. Eight people were saved by water. If you start giving the definitions and people believe it then you are going allow the man who has aids, not only will his sins be forgiven, born again and made whole the Lord will heal him of aids. The person dying of cancer although there might be one hundred healed of it you have one thousand who still need healing from cancer. You will increase their faith and the Lord will make them whole. The person dying from diabetes, one who is going to have a baby corrupt from the womb, gives them a chance to be redeemed from the curse of the law. You need to give your people and those you minister to a fighting chance to overcome the sins, sickness and curses that are on the world. The Lord wants to make us whole.
When Hezekiah was sick the prophet told him he was going to die. He understood covenant. In Isaiah 38:7 he said in love for my soul (nephesh) he’s cast all my sins behind his back. In the new covenant it says if you’re sick call for the elders, pray the prayer of faith, if you’re committed any sins they’ll be forgiven if there’s a repentant heart. That doesn’t mean you can go out and sin willingly that grace may abound. There are things we may treat our brother bad but you can’t practice sin and expect the Lord to forgive you if you live and walk in sin. If you’ve committed sins they’re going to be forgiven. Jesus said what is it easier to say take up your bed and walk or your sins forgiven.
The type and shadow under the old law where there was mercy under the blood of the lamb we now have mercy though Jesus the Lamb of God. There are those who believe in once saved always saved no matter what you do you’re going to see the Lord’s face in peace. That is not true. The scripture tells you if you practice certain sins you’re not going to inherit eternal life. Another says your name can be taken out of the Lamb’s book of life if you change the word. Preach the wholesome words. Preach the definitions. Raise the expectation of the people then in the meetings you will have a greater amount of people that are going to be delivered and healed.

We are approaching the time where you won’t be able to buy or sell, go to the hospital, work or do anything. You’re going to have to totally trust the Lord. You’re going to have to totally trust the Lord for everything. You need to prepare your family and yourself to be able to stand.
