What Does Being Saved Mean?

Daniel 8:25 (KJV) 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper (cause deceit to prosper) in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Peter 2:1-2 (KJV) 1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Revelation 20:3 (KJV) 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Revelation 19:20 (KJV) 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

On my website there is a list defining the word saved.

I encourage you to go over it. People have a misunderstanding being born again and being saved. People do not know the meaning of the word saved. When people gave their life to the Lord they got born again but did not enter into a covenant to be made whole; which is what the word saved means. (Saved – Rescue, Safety, Physically Healed, Morally Delivered, To Deliver, To Protect, Saving Health).

What should have been preached is the meanings of the words in Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess (make a binding agreement or covenant) with thy mouth (verbally) the Lord Jesus, (Jesus or Yahshua means Salvation, Saved – Rescue, Safety, Physically Healed, Morally Delivered, To Deliver, To Protect, Saving Health; He was the Lamb of God and by His blood we (should have) entered into a (blood) covenant (with His Father to be made whole) and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (made whole).

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness (as Abraham did); and with the mouth confession (covenant) is made unto salvation (covenant is made with the Heavenly Father for Salvation, Saved – Rescue, Safety, Physically Healed, Morally Delivered, To Deliver, To Protect, Saving Health).

At the time of entering into covenant your sins are forgiven. In miracle meetings where the meaning of saved was preached, most people that were healed were believers but the element that was missing was to enter into a covenant to be made whole. If the born again believers had been in covenant they would have had saving health and would have had to go to the meetings to get healed.

Thank the Lord for everyone that has been born again but this misunderstood, watered down gospel of being saved must change before the mark of the beast. The chip is required for the whole world to buy or sell.

We are going to look at the doctrine of once saved always saved.  It’s also called internal security.  This is a false doctrine that hurts people.

Pastors and teachers who preach that if you are truly saved you wouldn’t practice sin are preaching a false doctrine. There is a difference in practicing sin and at times falling in sin.

Practicing sin is the attitude of some that believe they can deliberately practice sin and afterwards without true repentance say the Lord’s prayer and be forgiven without truly wanting to abstain from sin.

Galations 5: 19-21 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

In America we have various denominations including branches of the Baptist church that teach internal security. I have heard pastors say that if a person was truly saved they wouldn’t practice sin. In the past the Southern Baptists supported slavery but considered themselves saved. American Baptists that did not agree with slavery and formed their own organization. However, after the split many were racists and murderers just like the Southern Baptists. The Freewill Baptist were not supporting slavery but they were racist. Hardrock Baptists are more like holiness people.

I was raised in the Apostolic Pentecostal denomination that did not teach eternal security, once saved always saved. We were taught a person can backslide and be restored. In the history of the United States there isn’t one denomination that didn’t practice discrimination. Some denominations changed early and did not support slavery. Some of those that chose to help blacks out of slavery were Baptists; they were in southern parts of the United States called the bible belt

I have a book with pictures showing hundreds of people being hung. Within four days of doing this teaching of eternal security, once saved always saved there was a black women that made a huge tapestry depicting thousands of black people being hung, burned and beaten to death. In the pictures you can see religious people dressed in their Sunday best clothes watching the hangings, some were smiling. Were they truly saved?

1 John 3:15 (KJV) 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Throughout the history of the Southern Baptists things did not change until the civil rights movement.  Many white churches were embarrassed because of the civil rights movement; their change was not because of the Word of God. There was an apology in the 1990’s by the Southern Baptist for the support of slavery. In my particular denomination, before it was legal for blacks to marry whites and whites to marry blacks, we had mixed marriages in our organization. If you have an organization or a person that hates their brother in the Lord the scripture considers it murder. No murderer is going to inherit eternal life. In my association with the black Baptists here in the United States the once saved always saved doctrine allows for drunkenness, adultery and much ungodly behavior; yet still believe they have eternal salvation. Not too far from where I live I was walking down the street with a police officer in the small village near where I live; he was having an affair with two women, (one was married and one was a widow). He knew that I was aware of this situation and he said to me that through all of his foolishness he never lost the assurance of his salvation. The word salvation means to be made whole, rescue, safety, physically or morally, saving health, deliverance. In the police officers situation he could say I am still born again; however; he had no knowledge of what saved or salvation really means. So he could repent and be back to walking in right relationship with the Lord but he could not use the word saved or salvation.

My daughter walked away from the Lord when she graduated from school; she got involved with a man and had three children with him. Neither had been married before and had never gotten married to each other and were living in fornication.  Because of the way he treated her, he ended up being responsible for her murder. She was beaten to death with a ball bat.

I was at an automobile dealership in the community that I live in and a white Baptists brother asked me about my daughter’s death. I told him I was concerned whether she made it right with the Lord before she died. He assured me that if she was once saved she was still saved and everything would be alright. The word saved means delivered and made whole.

I found out later she had decided to leave the man she had been living with. He had been unfaithful a number of times. When he moved in with his dead brother’s girlfriend she felt it was like incest because she was part of the family. I found out later she was praying and made plans to get out the relationship, go back to school and turn back to the Lord. She was praying and attending a church fellowship. I then had assurance that she had repented, came back from her backslidden condition and was walking with the Lord at the time of her death.

She did not know or understand the idea that salvation included protection. She did not know that the word Savior means One who run to deliver her. She had gotten away from the teaching of what the fullness of salvation meant. This man that assured me everything would be alright even if she died in her sin; he said that no matter what she did she was saved. He was saying that if she died in her sin she would still go to heaven – but the scripture says no fornicator, adulterer, liars are going to have an inheritance or see the Lord’s face in peace. I am paraphrasing this.

I was a supervisor of a parole prison program. I was working late in the office and our assistant secretary who was black Baptists came in the next day and told me she noticed in my writing that I was a Christian. She came in and said she wanted to give me something good and the Lord would forgive us – It does not work that way.

One of the tricks of the devil is evolution taught by Darwin. He started the idea of different races of people. There were no different races of people from the beginning; all men came from the same source, Adam and Eve. There are only two races; the human race and those that are born again, the royal generation. 1 Peter 2:9-10 But ye are a chosen generation (the word generation means a race), a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called.

1 Peter 2:1-10 (KJV) 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

The word generation in verse nine is race. When you are born again you become a race of people for the Lord. Abraham was called out and out of Abraham the Lord made a new people; race; generation. If we collectively make up the priesthood regardless of your nationality or skin color if you have become born again you are part of the royal priesthood. When it came time for slavery to end and the idea of black men voting they could not vote because congress said a black man is only 3/5 of a man therefore he cannot vote.

The scripture says the word of God is to out to every nation, every tribe, every tongue and everyone that is born of the spirit of the Lord makes up the royal race. So they have blasphemed and misrepresented the word.

1 John 3:9 (KJV) 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Once we are born again we are always born again but we cannot say once we are saved we are always saved. That is the misunderstanding of the word saved. We are not always made whole. When you look at my article Issue 4 where is talks about making a binding agreement or covenant with your mouth with Jesus (Yahshua) thou shall be made whole. Then your sins are forgiven, born again and healed all at the same time. Your sins can rob you of the benefits of your salvation.

Matthew 27:39-49 (KJV) 39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. 41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. 43 He trusted in God; let him deliver (sozo –save) him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. 44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth. 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?  47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. 48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. 49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

You can see how they said save yourself which shows the word save means delivered, be made whole, rescue, safety, physically or morally. It shows they said he delivered others. He made others whole and himself he cannot save. He could have saved himself but he said he came to do his Father’s will.

Matthew 26:47-56 (KJV) 47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. 48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. 49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. 50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. 51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. 52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? 55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me. 56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

His point is he could have saved himself but he came to do the will of the Father.

Luke 23:33-43 (KJV) 33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. 38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

We can see this is another record of Him being mocked. The word save in verse thirty five means he protected others; delivered others. He did not try to deliver himself.

In the United States there have been pastors of every denomination caught in sin. Recently you may have seen in the news where Pope Francis refused to correct a man who was molesting boys. In the last twenty years there have been reports of molestation and women trying to get child support from priests. There are Baptists pastors who are into homosexual activity. You hear of Pentecostal pastors who have stolen money from the church. Holiness church pastors emphasize on being sanctified, truly saved and not sinning and while preaching they steal from the organization. Were they truly saved? Some were truly born again but turned back to sin. As far as the meaning of the word saved they were not saved.

1 Corinthians 5:1-13 (KJV) 1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
0 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Here are born again people some of which have experienced healing, deliverance, speaking in tongues and yet there was sin among them. They didn’t do anything about it. Paul turned them over to Satan for the destruction of their flesh that the spirit might be saved, delivered in the day of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In my life the Lord has been teaching me and sending me to do things I do not fully understand. I get on the job training. Through the process of on the job training you can make mistakes and not fully understand what is going on. For example some years ago there was a ministry in Michigan. They heard my teaching and wanted me to go to another affiliate church further north. I went up to St. Johns, Michigan to tell them what I would be teaching on. When I told them I felt all of this anger. There are times the Lord sends me somewhere and there is a situation going on and I feel the anger which is part of my learning process. It was like this Corinthian church. As I was talking to them I didn’t understand all the anger so I just quit talking and sat down. The elder of the church took over talking and filled in. I was asked to come back in two weeks so I did. Before the service started a blond haired white women passed me. I could not stand this woman. I turned to get away from her. I thought what is wrong with me? I’m not the kind of person to instantly dislike someone. Then it occurred to me she reminded me of a women I was married to. I married a sign of the church that has Pentecostal witchcraft. When it came to me it reminded me of what I lived with for six years. I spoke to her and asked her what is wrong with you; and she said she was so despondent because her husband divorced her. This woman had affairs with other men and I told her that he divorced her because she was such whorish woman. I looked around the church prior to that and thought I’m going to talk to some of the older sisters and tell them what’s going on before I leave. Because when I deal with her she will go back and continue her promiscuous ways and needs someone to correct her. I looked at one sister and said; Lord should I talk to her? The Lord said no she couldn’t handle it. I looked at another sister and asked the Lord should I tell this woman? The Lord said she would fall apart. I looked at the elder’s wife that had taken me up there and asked the Lord should I tell Sandy? The Lord said Sandy would beat her up. When the service started and I began teaching she got up and went outside leaving the door open and picked grass. She is trying to make people feel sorry for her and she is working people with charming. Men go out and try to comfort her. I found out one of the worship leaders she was having sex with her fourteen year old foster child while her diabetic blind husband was still in the house. I found out the pastors wife had an affair going on with a younger man and the church knew about it. She felt it was just a loving relationship and they did not have sex. I then understood the Lords anger and broke out crying. The next day I went again. The Lord told me to turn the women who was having sex with her fourteen year old foster boy over to Satan for the destruction of her flesh. This was a new step to me. I didn’t understand the process at the time. My thinking was she would drop dead like Ananias and Sapphira. During the time I was there teaching they had a place for me to stay. I cannot describe how upset and distressed I was over this. One thing I learned was in a time of deep distress the Lord is your stress reliever.

Before I went to Michigan there was going to be a boxing match on between Sugar Ray Leonard and a boxer from South America. I wanted to see it. The Lord said turn it on so I sat there watching. It relieved me of that stress that I was feeling when I felt my head was going to explode.

There was a knock at the door, it was the women who was having sex with the fourteen year old boy; she came in trembling and handed me a watch. She said thank you for saving my marriage. To this day I do not know if I disobeyed the Lord of is she had genuine repentance. I was relieved in one sense taking it as a sign of her repentance. These people were truly born again. I don’t know who was healed. When you read in 1 Corinthians 12 they are talking about healing. The Corinthians believed in healing, deliverance and being made whole.  By practicing sin you can nullify your benefits and got get your healing; not get the deliverance you need because of being a believer walking in sin. The word save is misused and misunderstood.

Matthew 24:15 and Revelation 13:15 - when they come to pass it will be the beginning of World War 3. Two thirds of the Jews will die and one third of mankind.

Read Revelation 14:9-12 and see the way the Lord feels about it. You have an opportunity to help your children and grandchildren to be prepared; make your calling and election sure. Without holiness no man will see the Lord.  At that time the Lord’s people need to be walking in righteousness that the Lamb of God purchased for us. They will die unnecessarily because they do not know how to trust the Lord or they are not in covenant with Him.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (KJV) 3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

In the preceding articles I have provided wholesome words or sounds words of definitions. Study them for yourselves.

The Lord Bless you.
