In Many Religious Things The Spirit And Love Of God Is Not In It

A man said to me little bit of poison can kill you. I think it is better said a little bit of doubt can kill you.

relationship not religion

The scripture says if you doubt not you can have what you say. Many doctrines turn your eyes away from the Lord. Religion looks godly but the spirit of God is not in it. In many religious things the spirit and love of God is not in it.

Genesis 3:1-7 (KJV) 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God (Elohim) had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God (Elohim) hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God (Elohim) doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

The serpent is bending things. They question is did He really say? A little bit of doubt. I’ve heard pastors say the Lord always answers prayers and sometimes the answer is yes and sometimes it is no. That might sound good but the Lord swore by himself because He could find no one greater. There is no shadow of turning in Him. It is impossible for God to lie. If you believe Him you are saved. We came to God on a watered down version. All that was needed was a little bit of doubt by saying did God really say.

I was at a church on hilltop and a man said pointing to his son that boy has never had flesh, he is a vegetarian. Some religions follow dietary laws. For example some Seventh Day Adventist’s don’t believe in eating meat. People are being taught to eat certain ways to keep them healthy and for some that included not eating meat. It’s not about whether you eat meat or vegetables. It’s about your eyes being turned away from Jesus. If your eyes are not on what the Lord has done you have been had. You should be able to say I am in covenant with the Lord and I can eat whatever I want to eat in faith and I am going to be fine. So it’s not about what to eat or not to eat. Your eyes are off what your salvation is. I am not saying being a vegetarian is wrong or eating meat is wrong. I am saying it turns your eyes away from what the Lord did.

Some people eat fish on Friday. Fish is meat. Eating fish on Friday was a sacrifice to Dagon the fish god.

People are taking their eyes off what the foundation is. He says I am the salvation for the lost sheep of Israel and also the salvation for the Gentiles. You can do everything that sounds so religious and so right but you miss looking at what He did at Calvary. He purchased our rescue, safety, physical or morally, saving health, deliverance. You miss the boat when you look to other things. Satan blinds the eyes of people where they don’t see the glorious gospel news. There are different ways to keep people blinded and keeping them from where they should be going.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

You have people who think the Lord is Michael the arc angel but you have the wrong god. People think you have to keep the commandments. They miss the point where He says I give you a new commandment. The apostles saw Moses and Elijah and heard the Lord say this is my beloved Son listen to Him. Don’t go back to Moses (law) this is My Son. Enter into the new covenant. So people miss the entering into the new covenant and what the new covenant brings to them – rescue, safety, physically or morally, saving heath, deliverance. Just a little bit of turning your eyes away from Jesus is all it takes to miss out on the benefits He’s provided.

1 Kings 4:20-23 (KJV) 20 Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry. 21 And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life. 22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal, 23 Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts (deer), and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.

Nehemiah 5:16-19 (KJV) 16 Yea, also I continued in the work of this wall, neither bought we any land: and all my servants were gathered thither unto the work. 17 Moreover there were at my table an hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, beside those that came unto us from among the heathen that are about us. 18 Now that which was prepared for me daily was one ox and six choice (fat) sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the bread of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people. 19 Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.

This is what they ate daily.

Matthew 22:1-4 (KJV) 1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

Some people want to do a fast like Daniel but Daniel didn’t abstain from eating eat because it was wrong to eat meat. The meat was offered to gods. It had nothing to do with it was a sin to eat meat. The meat was offered to idols so he just ate the vegetables. If you want to fast don’t eat anything. Those who want to get in touch with demons abstain from eating eat. The idea of not eating meat came from the demonic world. To fast from meat in the sense that it is wrong to eat meat is a hindrance from you hearing from the Lord. It is just one more doctrine of demons which robs you of what you should have in Christ.
