With Your Heart Walk In The Meditation Of God’s Word | Keep In Memory

Meditating on the word is not about the lotus position of sitting with crossed legs using ancient India practices.

With your heart walk in the meditation of God's word

Psalm 119:15 (KJV) 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

There are over 6000 times where the bible says the Lord God of Israel. In some translations which I’m not sure why they did it, it says sovereign God. Any time the Jews of the Old Testament (the Old Covenant) read the Torah they read it with the original saying, Yahweh, The Covenant Keeping God, the Creator of Israel.

Genesis 2:4 is the first time the word Lord is used in context of covenant. Up until that time the word God is Elohim (the Creator).

Genesis 2:4-8 (KJV) 4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God (Yahweh the Covenant Keeping Creator) made the earth and the heavens, 5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God (the Covenant Keeping Creator) had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7 And the LORD God (Yahweh Covenant Keeping Creator ) formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.8 And the LORD God (Yahweh Covenant Keeping Creator) planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Prior to those scriptures it was Elohim the Creator later defined as the Word that became flesh.

John 1:14 (KJV) 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Yahweh became Yashua now called Jesus, in other words Emmanuel. Emmanuel was the physical manifestation of the invisible creator.  He made the earth to be inhabited.

Matthew 1:23 (KJV) 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

The plan of our Lord was and still is the plan to be the King of the whole earth.

Psalm 24:1 (KJV) 1 The earth is the LORD'S (Yahweh the Covenant Keeping God), and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Satan in his deception has put in people’s hearts and minds that he runs the earth and God’s business is in heaven. The word says Yashua is going to be King of the whole earth. The earth is the Lord’s (Yahweh’s ) and the fullness thereof.

Satan says, why go through all the suffering you are going to go through just bow down and worship me and I’ll give you all this. In the bible where it says Satan is the god of this world it means this age (time).

Matthew 4:1-10 (KJV) 1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) 4 In whom the god of this world (age, time) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Our Lord is the King and he is coming to destroy those who destroy the earth. I was telling this to a Lutheran pastor I met in a Ponderosa restaurant. She said she was more concerned about the environment.

There are places where God is Adoni the blesser.

1 Corinthians 15:1-2 (KJV) 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved (made whole), if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Romans 10:9 (KJV) 9 That if thou shalt confess (make a covenant) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (Salvation of the Covenant Keeping God Yahshua), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (made whole).

The children of Israel believed in what the God of a blood covenant told Moses to say to them. He told them to put the blood of a lamb on the door post and they left Egypt in saving health. Not one feeble knee among them.

Exodus 12:21-23 (KJV) 21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Psalm 105:37 (KJV) 37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

Isaiah 35:1-6 (KJV) 1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. 2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God. 3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. 5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

Jesus (Yashua) is our door to the Father (Yahweh). It is by the blood of the door. He is our Lamb.

John 14:6 (KJV) 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 10:7 (KJV) 7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

John 1:29 (KJV) 29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God (Yahweh the Covenant Keeping Almighty), which taketh away the sin of the world.

We receive the same benefits and blessings; the same salvation, meaning rescue, safety, physically or morally, health and safety, preservation of life that the Israelite's received.

Hebrews 12:11-12 (KJV) 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

Keep in memory by meditation. As they meditate they really believed what God really is. They read the Word as it was originally written. With the heart man believes and with the mouth covenant is made. Knowing you are in covenant relationship is a joy.

Joshua 1:8 (KJV) 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Psalm 1:2 (KJV) 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalm 63:6 (KJV) 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Psalm 77:12 (KJV) 12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Psalm 119:15 (KJV) 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

Psalm 119:23 (KJV) 23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

Psalm 119:48 (KJV) 48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

Psalm 119:78 (KJV) 78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

Psalm 143:5 (KJV) 5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

Sometimes when I feel down I think back of what He has done for me. He isn’t going to leave me now. I’ve come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord. David encouraged himself in the Lord. God hasn’t brought me this far to leave me. Sometimes you have to encourage yourself in the Lord. When David was meditating on God’s word he was also in trouble but he was meditating that the Lord was on his side. He was in covenant relationship despite how bad things were. As I mentioned before David sinned with Bathsheba and his sin had consequences yet he still believed the Lord was on his side by mediating on God's promises.

Our brain can read the word but with your heart walk in the meditation of God’s word. Paul said to keep in memory; think about it; meditate on it.

1 Corinthians 15:1-2 (KJV) 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
