The Lord has determined to rescue His people.
Romans 16:20 (KJV) 20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
He made a promise to Israel. In spite of their sin He said He is going to keep His covenant to Abraham. It’s not because of their goodness but because of His goodness that He will keep His covenant. There is a harsh correction coming where two thirds will die but one hundred and forty four thousand will be sealed. During the millennium reign they are the ones who will multiply and have children. They will cover all the land.
A lot of people teach replacement theology. Some people say the Lord is through with the Jews but the Lord made a promise. It will be terrible what they have to go through before they turn fully to Him but He made a promise and it will be kept. The Lord said there will be twelve thousand out of each tribe sealed.
Revelation 7:4-8 (KJV) 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
Even the gates of the new city are named after the tribes of Israel. None of the gates are named after the Gentiles. We are the ones en-grafted in. When the time of the Gentiles is over He will turn back to His people. All of God’s promises are sure and amen.
Revelation 21:12 (KJV) 12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
We who are born again are Abraham’s children by faith. The Lord has the same commitment to all of Abraham’s children - to get them straightened up before things in the world fall apart. That is a large part of what this ministry is about. Kind of like Paul Revere warning what is to come. We run into opposition but the devil can’t stop it because the Lord has determined to rescue His people.
The Lord wants to open your eyes and bring you into covenant relationship.
He wants His people to be able to overcome by the word of their testimony and the blood of the Lamb. There will be a generation that will come and one that will be produced with the right understanding the first time. It is hard to play catch up, renew your mind and think differently. I mentioned before about a place I used to work how they would rather pull someone off the street and train them rather to try to retrain someone to do things differently. It is difficult to renovate your mind rather than do it right the first time. But the Lord has a commitment to us born again believers who didn’t know it all right the first time. Pray for it and ask the Lord to lead us through it. He will get the job done.
The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. He wants to take as many with him as he can. The Lord came that you might have life and have it more abundant. What we learn we should share with others. Put on the whole armor of God. In spite of fiery trials we are to be overcomers.
Ephesians 6:11-12 (KJV) 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
